two royal years + one royal giveaway

i’ve been selling royal buffet paper lovelies on etsy for two years and eleven days now (no comment on missing the actual anniversary) so i thought i should offer a little celebratory giveaway to my friends and fans and the foes few and far between. enter a comment in the comments section and i’ll choose a winner (by random selection, of course) on wednesday, january 27. and what will you be winning, should you be the lucky winner? well, the choice will be up to you, as the prize is any one item that is listed in the shop! mobile, garland, wired bird or creature, whatever you wish will be yours. so enter, don’t delay, and be nice and tell your friends to enter, too.

I bought a book yesterday whose first line is “Windwir is a city of paper and robes and stone” and I thought of you when I read it. Well, actually, I thought of me first, because I am addicted to paper in all its glorious forms…but THEN I thought of you and your wonderful store which is always a pleasure to peruse.

I can never remember my etsy password, so I’ll tell you here that I *loved* my blackbird lovely. I perched him (her?)in a vase of twigs- perfection.
It amazes me how you find time for art while raising your family. I lost that ability somewhere along the way and am trying to get it back.

How does Mollie take paper that is still and lifeless and turn it into something so fluid and animated? I love my “Lords a Leaping” (I call it “Fred Astaire”) ornament. What a treasure!
